ok so i want 'emo' hair..my hair is pretty long, its NATURALY black and i mite need to cut it [to make it look emo] get it layerd if thtz how ppl get emo hair and everything i need to do or no to get emo hair and mentain it and all tht crap! THNKSSS :D

This hair-do is very low maintenance and easy to maintain. If you don't have naturally straight hair, this will NOT look good unless you use a straightener. Chi is the best in hair straighteners though it goes for about $120

I have what you can call "emo" hair. Get VERY short layers at the top. If you want the teased look, i suggest buying a rat tail or teasing comb along with bedhead manipulator. It works wonder. Try getting short hair with extensions.

for styling it straighten it then spike up the back with gel

or just leave it all straight
