Emo hair help???? please help! xx?

okay, i have shoulder length brown hair with lighter brown streaks and i really want an emo cut (getting my hair cut 2day) nd i need help choosing! I cant find any right pics so i need sum help frm u ppl. neways, i dont want it to be too too short but i really want the over the eye thing

Another thing is, after i get it cut, should i dye it or put highlights.. and wut color highlights if i should get them (i have darkish lightish brown hair) I dont mind bleach blonde streaks or anything either.

sounds liek my hair at the moment! i've tried to get "emo" hair pics before, but couldnt find anything useful. the best thing to do is to draw the sort of style you want, then describe anything else. i'd go for a cut just longer than shoulders, layered feathered and straightened around your face. i'm thinking of dying it black, with red streaks...maybe you could try it too?
