just cut your own hair. be sure to make it choppy. for products you could use garnier fructis surf's up. it's a texture paste that gives a matte effect. normal hairspray works, too. make sure the hair is in your eyes. %26lt;--that's the basis of any emo cut.

that's what i do anyway. (i'm not emo, though. i just think it's fun.) and my hair is light brown and not completely in my eyes.

emo hair is also normally black or platinum blonde. (or a mix. not highligts, more like a section.)
