ok so im a black guy and i want a new look for the school year i am planning on getting my hair straightend and dye it dark blue and having it hang over my face aka emo hair deu, thing is im a black guy and i have never seen a picture of a black guy with an emo type of hair due i am wondering if it is possible to do this and if so what should i tell the hair dressor to do with my hair????

i went to a local band concert in may of 2007 and there was only one black guy there and this guy had the type of hair you are talking about i didnt have my camera with me so i couldnt take pics of it..

but if you type of black guy who cant grow an afro cuz lots of black guys cant then it is really possibal..

just let your hair grow out and ask the hair dressor if they know what and emo style is look for pictures on the internet of emo hairstyles and ask them if tehy can do it to your hair..

if not they can always do extensions..

my friend was in the same situation lol he has a relaxer in his hair and i think he also straightens it with a flat iron...but i wouldn't do that and bleach and dye it all at the same time

i have *ehem* black people hair too and its dyed purple at the moment...i use deep conditioner every time i wash it and it keeps it from uh, breaking off when i straighten it

a good stylist will know exactly what you mean by the description you gave in your question--

the best thing you can do is cut out a magazine picture or something that shows the cut you want...even if it isn't a black guy in the picture!

I did that once everyone laughed at me but if you realy care about your hair and how you look you wont listen to them if you like how it looks who gives a fcuk what some other **** thinks
