its weird. i got the best hair cut ("emo") at my school and now every1 is copying me! lol i guess its just a fad because its the best freakin hair around!

I think it's the most pointless fad ever. It makes people look like freaks and just f**** up their hair.

I think emo hair is just another fashion trend. I really don't see anything wrong with it, even if lots of guys have it. Girls all have the "hollywood bang" which is the side-swept bang with layers in their hair, so why shouldn't a guy be able to get it if he thinks it looks good? The only problem I have with it is when people think to become emo you need to have this haircut, if you want the haircut because you think it will look good, just get it, don't do it just so you can call yourself emo.

as an old old person...and a long time hair stylist.... EMO this year is just the same thing as PUNK....5 years ago.....and so on....what it is

is when you hit the teenage stage...and you get this thing inside you that wants to be your own person....

YOu know how they say kids are REBELs? That's all.....its just normal teenage rebellion and there is nothing wrong with it....i personally think it is very healthy....and good for the soul....'

no one should put it down.........everyone is different and should be admired for being independent....and being their own person..........they didn't have that when I was younger but I may have chosen it....I can see the style and art in it... I appreciate it...... and I'm 45....!

the reason someone would want emo hair is because, as emo hair becomes more popular with emo kids, people other than those who identify themselves as emo are going to want it, just like anything else, like how preppy white girls wear baby phat because they saw it on MTV, they are the farthest thing from being the baby phat type but since its popular they want it, so as long as emo hair is popular people are going to want it. Personally i think its awesome, i am a total prep but def listen to punk/ alternative music so a lot of my favorite bands have emo hair, i would totally have emo hair if it looked right with my style, i tried growing it once and i didn't look right, its not for everyone and posers just need to stop trying to be cool and steel other peoples style!!!
